It’s all about Halloween and Fall with these colorful complete and save challenges! I decided to go all in with this cute but kind of spooky theme on one tracker to make saving festive this month. I then created a Fall themed October Savings challenge for those of you who do not celebrate Halloween. I changed it up with these complete and save trackers, because the goal is to focus on checking off those savings amounts.
I was tempted to make the savings goal higher but decided to slow it down since most of us do multiple savings challenges in a month. The savings goal for these trackers is $75, with the amounts ranging from $3 to $7. There are 16 images on each tracker, so you can complete a row a week, one each day (for 16 days), or spread it out during the month. It doesn’t matter how you do it, just have fun!
How to Complete the Savings Challenge
These savings challenges are easy to do because you only check off each amount that you save. On these trackers each image has an amount with a circle check next to it. The circle is for you to check or cross out as you save the image amount. I wanted to give our coloring hands a break this month, so that we can focus on the saving part!
Remember Your Why
We have been doing these monthly challenges for several months now, and it can seem like another thing on your to do list. I recently found myself in somewhat of a rut due to the constant savings challenges that I do. I don’t take breaks in between my challenges because I know me. If I stop in between challenges, it’s a huge chance that I will quit saving.
It’s during these times that I must remember my Why. It’s the reason that I started my financial journey, and what pushes me through each time that I want to give up. Do you know your Why?
If not, your why is very personal. It is that ultimate goal, experience, or feeling you want to achieve on your financial journey. It could be to take your dream vacation, become debt free, buy a car in cash, do your bucket list items, or whatever your heart desires. Your Why should be something that drives you to reach your goal.
My Why is to become financially free so that I get to decide where I work, live, and what I experience. This pushes me daily to get up and do what I committed to do, even when I don’t feel like. Use your why to keep going on your financial journey and crush those goals!
