The Printable Pumpkin Catch Savings Challenge

I wanted to keep the Fall theme with the Pumpkin Catch Savings Challenge but change up the colors. I like Fall colors, but I got tired of using them in my savings challenges. This savings tracker has a purple and pink theme, the perfect aesthetic (to me 😊).

The savings goal is $100 and the amounts on the challenge range from $5 to $10. It’s a fun and easy way to save money at your own pace!

How to Complete the Savings Challenge

This is a complete and save challenge, which has become one of my favorite types of trackers. There are pumpkin images on the savings tracker with a savings amount next to it. Each time that you save the amount on the tracker, check off the heart image next to the amount. There are 15 amounts total on the challenge tracker, so that you can save as fast or slow as you want to.

How to Stay Disciplined While Saving Money

I was asked today how I stay disciplined and not spend the money that I save in my challenges. The truth is that I am not that disciplined. I am an over spender, who puts a category for shopping in my budget so that I don’t lose my mind. I have tried the no spend challenge and it does not work for me. I just go back to spending after it is done to make up for the no spend time.

If I didn’t have money budgeted for spending, I would probably empty my savings challenges and spend it all. I want to share that because social media can make someone’s life look perfect and that is far from the truth for me. It’s something that I continue to work on, and it’s important that I am transparent.

I love doing savings challenges, so that motivates me to continue to save. I found a fun way that makes saving enjoyable for me. It’s become a habit for me, so I view saving as just something that I do. It’s a non-negotiable because I always pay myself first.

You have to find what works for you, so that saving is something that you look forward to. If you are reading this, then savings challenges may bring you enjoyment. Or you may like seeing your savings account grow online. It’s more about saving consistently and not completely depriving yourself.
