$1,000 Emergency Fund Savings Challenge

The Printable $1,000 Emergency Fund Savings Challenge

I created this savings challenge because I know that there are people who do not have any money saved for any emergency. Since the goal is to save as much money as you can, I wanted to provide a free tracker that will help you to reach your savings goal. Even though this is a $1,000 emergency fund savings challenge, that may not be enough for you. This savings challenge can be completed as many times as you need to fully fund your emergency fund.

For example, if you want to save $3,000 in your emergency fund, just completed this savings challenge three times. Or you can cross out the $10 that I filled in at the top of the tracker for each butterfly and write $30. That way you will only have to complete the tracker once. I wanted to make this savings challenge as simple as possible, so that you can focus on saving!

How to Complete the Savings Challenge

This challenge is very simple to follow. There are 100 butterfly images on the tracker. Each butterfly is worth $10. Each time that you save $10, color a butterfly and put your money in a cash envelope, jar, or other storage container. After you have colored in all of the images and saved $10 for each image, the challenge is complete! I created this savings challenge as a low-income savings challenge so that anyone can save money. As you color in the tracker, you will see that you are closer to reaching your savings goal!

Give Yourself a Savings’ Goal Date

This savings challenge can be completed at your own pace. Since you are saving for your emergency fund, I will suggest setting a goal date for when you want to complete the savings challenge. This will keep you motivated and focused on your goal!

Finish Strong!

The best part about using a savings challenge tracker is that you can see your progress! With this challenge you will keep saving until your challenge is completed. It may get tough in the beginning because the finish line seems far away. KEEP GOING! Remember why you are saving and finish your challenge strong.
