The July Savings Challenge has a beach theme because a lot of us are enjoying this summer weather! I find the beach relaxing, so I wanted to create a savings challenge that was easy to complete and fun!
How to Complete the Savings Challenge
I like color and save challenges because it combines my love of coloring and saving money. I kept this tracker simple, with a small savings goal of $100. There are images on this tracker with various amounts. Pick any image on the tracker and save the amount that is on the image. Color in each image that you save for, and you are on your way to reaching the savings goal!
This is a low-income savings challenge, because I know that a lot of us have income that may fluctuate during these months. I wanted to create a savings challenge that will allow you to save a small amount during the month and stay on track with saving money regularly.
Let’s Stay Focused
Even though it’s summer, my focus is on staying consistent with saving money. I know that if I stop, it will be harder for me to get back into the habit of saving money. I make sure that I save in fun ways because it can become easy to get distracted by summer activities. Just in case you need a reminder: let’s stay focused on our savings goals.

Enjoy Your Summer!
As you continue to save money, don’t forget to enjoy each day. If I’m not careful I can become hyper focused on working and budgeting and lose sight of what is going on around me. This is a little reminder to us all, to take breaks and enjoy summer. I will be focusing on taking breaks and not being rigid with my spending. I will allocate more money to fun, so that I can enjoy this season fully. And please don’t forget to celebrate your progress!
