I am so excited to start my new series of mini savings challenges! I have been asked to create savings challenges with lower savings goals ($50 to $100) and that is what I have done. I love mini savings challenges because they are quick wins and don’t feel overwhelming.

So today I’m going to share my first mini savings challenge in this series: Mini Starry Savings Challenge. This challenge will help you to save $50 and it’s also a great savings challenge for kids! To get your Free Starry Savings Challenge, click the link below to begin the download!

The Printable Mini Starry Savings Challenge

The Starry Savings Challenge is a low income challenge that anyone can use. I mean anyone, even the kiddos! I created a stars and clouds theme challenge that is calming to color and fun. This savings tracker has 24 images that range from $1 to $4.

This color and save tracker will be a complete picture once it is colored in. I like to save my completed trackers to look back on my progress. So have some fun with it and get creative!

How to Complete the Savings Challenge

This savings challenge is easy to complete because it has the savings amounts on it. To start, choose an image on the tracker and save the amount on the image. Color in each image that you save for. This will help you to see your progress and celebrate those small wins!

Start Mini and Then Go Big!

I started my savings journey with mini savings challenges that I found on Etsy and blogs. I was excited to see a challenge that had lower savings amounts because I finally was able to complete a challenge.

Once I got into the habit of completing mini savings challenges, I decided to take it up a notch and try larger savings goals. I found that I was able to complete $300 to $1,000 savings goals because I broke it down into mini goals. I decided to try to save $100 at a time and it worked!

You can use this same logic to attack any savings challenge. Start with a mini challenge and then go big with a larger savings goal. Break it into bite sized pieces so that you and your budget are not over extended.

A Small Challenge is Still Progress

I get so many messages from people on social media from people telling me that they wish that they can save as much money as me. I share the story that I told you earlier about starting with mini savings challenges and working up to larger savings challenges.

We are all on different journeys and our savings goals and budgets are not the same. Start where you are, even if you have to start with a mini challenge. Then work your way up at your own pace to larger savings goals.

There are no rules, so have fun and celebrate those small wins! Please reach out to me in the comment section below or shoot me a message on social media: @thesavingbutterfly. I’d love to hear about your savings progress because we celebrate all our progress over here!
