The Printable $100 August Savings Challenge

The August Savings Challenge theme is the smart cookie. Since this is the time of year for going back to school and learning, I thought it was a cool way to kick off the month! This challenge has cookies and books, with a little coloring thrown in.

I love adult coloring books so most of the savings challenges that I create are color and save trackers. But let’s get to the good stuff which is how to complete this savings challenge.

How to Complete the Savings Challenge

This challenge is so easy to follow and has a $100 savings goal. Since this is a color and save tracker, you will be able to see your progress as you save. There are images on this tracker with various amounts. Pick any image on the tracker and save the amount that is on the image. Color in each image that you save for, and you are on your way to reaching the savings goal!

Why Is the Monthly Savings Goal Small?

Someone commented on one of my videos last week asking why my monthly savings challenges are so low and not $400. Well, that’s for two reasons. One is that most of us complete more than one savings challenge during the month and like the excitement of finishing multiple trackers. The other reason is that I am passionate about making saving money attainable for all budgeters.

That means any income level can save money with my challenges. I like to create savings goals that are not overwhelming and that help you to make saving money a habit. I know that I say this often, but I am serious about helping as many of you save money in small steps. Because it all adds up!

If you want to save more than $100 this month, go for it! It’s your savings journey, so make it fun and unique to you.

It All Adds Up!

I want to talk about the phrase that I use often, “Celebrate your progress every step of the way because it all adds up!” I say this because it is what I have seen in my own life. Those small steps, small savings, small efforts do add up. They help you to reach the big goal, so be sure to celebrate those small wins!
